Director of Development & Marketing
The Director of Development and Marketing leads Compass for Kids’ fundraising and marketing efforts, overseeing strategy, teams, and key relationships that support our mission and growth. This role requires a strong, experienced leader who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance big-picture vision with day-to-day execution. The Director works closely with staff, the Board of Directors, and community stakeholders to advance fundraising, communications, and brand awareness while ensuring accountability and results.
This role supports our out-of-school-time programs by working directly with K–12 students and assisting with essential program operations. The Program Assistant helps ensure our programs run smoothly while supporting students’ academic, social-emotional, and leadership growth.
School Year Program Mentor – support a positive, structured environment by following program guidelines and building strong relationships with students. Help lead social-emotional lessons, encourage participation, and model respectful behavior. Responsibilities also include assisting with data collection and transporting students safely to and from program sites.
